2025 HSBC Greater Bay Area Youth Employment Scheme 

For: Hong Kong residents aged 18 to 29 with the legal right to work in Hong Kong from a recognised local or overseas higher education institutions. The holder of a sub-degree or above, in any study discipline.

Duration: Eighteen months (Upon successful completion of the scheme, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role at HSBC.)

Location: Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan

If you're a Hong Kong resident who's recently graduated, this 18-month scheme offers the chance to gain valuable work experience, mobility to work in the Greater Bay Area, and tremendous scope to grow your professional network.

Who You Are

We welcome students from all degree disciplines and backgrounds, not just those who’ve studied finance-related degrees, or those who have knowledge of banking.

To join us on this scheme, you'll need to be:

• A Hong Kong resident aged between 18 to 29 with the legal right to work in Hong Kong
• The holder of a sub-degree or above, in any study discipline, awarded by a recognised Hong Kong or overseas higher education institutions
• Available to start full-time work no later than the end of December 2025
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• A natural communicator who enjoys building relationship and collaborating with others
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Excel macros, Access, and Projects would also be a plus)
