TRAINEE: Structured Products Application DevOps

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day to day application support and handle ad-hoc user requests
• Investigate, identify and resolve incidents and problems
• Propose and develop solutions using technologies e.g. Java, C#, Python
• Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability of production
• Monitor application and chain health. Build monitoring using external tools and develop in-house monitoring tool
• Take initiatives to reduce the operational risks and improve efficiency of day to day production

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• Have good knowledge on Unix and SQL
• Capable to understand and code with programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, or Python)
• Basic knowledge of Equity derivatives products
• Willing to learn, able to learn quickly
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have positive mindset and work as a team player
• Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. Department Description

The Asia Equity Exotics Technology department develops and maintains the applications to support the front to back processes of Structured Products, including functions such as pricing, booking, documentation and life cycle events.

As part of the Global Business Service Unit, we work hand in hand with financial engineers, sales, traders and middle office to design, develop, and ensure the stability of our global strategic solutions for the Structured Product business line.
