RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget & Financial Trajectory

  • Contribute in building GBSU financial trajectory in sync with DFIN/GBS
  • Effectively support in building the annual budget and monitor the capacity (Actuals, Forecast & Budget)

Staff Monitoring

  • Collect feedback from GBSU managers on the latest staff movements and update staff plan accordingly
  • Monitor the execution of the Saving plan
  • Maintain and update the staff mapping by SMEs, & BU
  •  Further digitalize HC dashboard and other reports using Power BI

OPEX & External costs control & optimization

  • Participate in the streamlining of the invoice payment process
  • Contribute in building a comprehensive contracts referential integrating sourcing and finance information
  • Support in automation of purchase request process from procurement to accounting

Communication

  • Manage internal communication within GBSU (monthly newsletter, onboarding program and a series of initiatives identified)
  • Maintain Upskill up to date

Administrative and Ad-hoc tasks management

  • Support on Controls & Referential tasks
  • Other ad hoc requests/relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management  

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree
  • 0-1 year working experience in financial reporting, report automation and communication
  • Strong analytical and synthetic skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good understanding of CIB business
  • Good communication skills    
  • French language is an advantage
  • Good ability to manipulate data in Excel
  • Good ability to prepare presentations using PowerPoint
  • Knowledge on Power BI
  • Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Serve as member and supporting the regional GBSU/COO/PIL team in building the financial trajectory, monitoring the resources, managing the capacity and steering the costs by working alongside DFIN & COO/PIL Paris team

Support on GBSU Asia communication, controls and referential.

Work together with PIL Asia team in automating our processes & digitalizing our services.
