TRAINEE: Employee Relations Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

The trainee for Employee Relations Team will contribute to the team's various activities with focus on the regional disciplinary management.

You will be in charge of these responsibilities:

  • To record all cases escalated to Employee Relations team and keep it updated and accurate by working closely with various internal stakeholders
  • To assist Employee Relations Managers in investigations of potential breach of employment related policies (including, but not limited to, managing proper recording of supporting documents & reports and taking minutes of interviews)
  • To handle various requests from different internal stakeholders on Employee Relations related data
  • To prepare Employee Relations related dashboard and reporting for different internal forums  
  • To conduct global reporting by working closely with Employee Relations Managers & country HR relay
  • To assist Employee Relations Managers in Global Permanent Supervision
  • To assist on projects and new initiatives within the team

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law or other related discipline
  • Strong analytical skill with attention to details
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks within tight timeline
  • A good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge on employment related legislation and working experience in Human Resources and/or Employee Relations roles are big plus
  • Fluent spoken English with excellent writing skills is essential

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In orderto apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract

Department Description

Employee Relations Team within Human Resources overseas the regional disciplinary management framework to comply with internal / external rules & regulations, provides insights & trainings concerning regulatory updates and employee relations related topics with HR colleagues & the the managers, provides advice and counsel to HR team & the managers on employee issues, establishes and maintains employee relations related policies & documents updated.
