RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist CFO with different supervision missions:

  • Monitoring and overseeing the entity P&L, costs, profitability, scarce resources (capital, liquidity, balance sheet) in line with budgetary targets, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations
  • Monitoring of structural interest rate, FX, and liquidity risk on banking books
  • Piloting accounting and regulatory production in all accounting gaps/norms required
  • Timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports within remit of finance department (accounting, prudential, tax)

Being an entry point with statuary auditors and local supervisory authorities for all topics under remit of finance department, and ensuring response to internal/external inspections and queries 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance /Accounting
  • A first experience in an audit firm would be a plus
  • Pro-active, rigorous, autonomous, and a strong ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong logical thinking, good written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
