INTERN: Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build a web application to track the different tools developed by the team
• Propose innovative technical solutions
• Communicate with other team members to understand the requirements
• Manage the project independantly

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics and Engineering or similar
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Good understanding of REST API (Application Programming Interface)
• Good knowledge of any one of front-end library (e.g. React, Angular, etc)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Fluent English is mandatory.

This is a 1-3 month full-time winter internship from January to March with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. Department Description:

RISQ/RMA is the department in charge of the Market Risk management within SG. It groups all risk related functions from model definitions to certification and monitoring. The Market Risks are encompassing VaR, PnL and Counterparty Credit risks. RISQ/RMA/MMG/XBC (Digital Design Office) is responsible for deploying and maintaining the End-User computing software mostly coded in Python.
