RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the DCS team with focus on governance and regulatory topics including, but not limited to
  • Tracking and reviewing the bank's compliance against new regulatory requirements impacting cybersecurity for Asia
  • Following up with relevant business and IT stakeholders to ensure with company security policies
  • Update training materials to enhance security awareness to the bank
  • Preparation of governance materials to facilitate senior management committees
  • Performing assessments to understand the bank's controls and risk level
  • Track and maintain key risk indicators (e.g. phishing campaign results)
  • Find opportunities to streamline existing processes through automation

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Security or similar
  • Good understanding of information / cyber security risk
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work in a team environment, on collective success
  • Display responsibility and act ethically
  • Display commitment, demonstrating consideration for others
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Pro-active, swift, analytical, rigorous, able to multi task and work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of coding is a plus
  • Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

The Data & Cyber Security (DCS) team is responsible for securing and steering information and cyber security related risks under GBIS's remit. Its responsibilities revolves around identification, protection, detection, response and recovery of security risk.
