Apply your stock trading experience to banking customer service

If you have experience in stock trading and want to apply your knowledge to banking customer service, you are welcome to join the HSBC customer service team.

As the investment service director of the HSBC customer service center, you will handle calls from Premier customers, stock trading orders and investment inquiries, actively listen to and understand customer needs, and provide suitable services, products and solutions to problems.

If you have working experience in financial institutions to execute stock order orders; hold an investment license from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute and pass the qualification examinations of Paper 1, Paper 7 and Paper 8; pass the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination in five subjects , including Mathematics plus Chinese or English, or have higher education; can speak fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin, you are welcome to join our customer service team.

We will provide comprehensive HSBC investment product and service training, so that you can flexibly use your experience and knowledge to provide appropriate products and services to create a satisfactory service experience for customers.

You will need to achieve personal performance goals such as successfully introducing investment products to clients, and always comply with the bank's codes and regulations on operational risk.

This is a five-day work week with shift work (days, nights, weekends and public holidays).

If you have some stock trading experience, this is an ideal opportunity to join our Contact Center team. You will handle inbound stock order placement and investment inquiries from our Premier customers. 

Investment Specialist – Contact Center

Within our Contact Center team, you will receive phone calls from Premier Banking customers, listen to and understand their needs, then provide high levels of service to resolve their enquiries, ideally on the first contact, by offering relevant investment services and solutions.

There will be individual performance expectations on investment products you successfully introduce to customers, and you will need to maintain operational risk control and compliance at all times, but we will provide you with thorough training on the full range of HSBC investment products and services.

This represents an ideal career development opportunity if you have experience in stock trading execution, either within a bank or securities firm, and hold an investment license with the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Paper 1, 7 and 8.

Equally important is a highly customer-focused approach with the drive to deliver the highest service levels, along with effective communication and problem-solving skills. You should be fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, and you must have HKCEE/HKDSE or above.

This is a five-day working week, but you should have the flexibility to work on a rotating shift covering days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
