The Global Technical Sales team is responsible for providing technology and thought leadership to our customers. This team supports strategic sales engagements, drives technology adoption, and supports the global digital platform strategy of Equinix.
\xa0
Our interns will be offered the opportunity to shadow GTS leadership and practitioners in their daily role in key initiatives, strategic sales engagements, development of offers, repeatable solutions, and use cases as well as be given guided responsibility for the completion of a specific business required project.\xa0

Assignments and Responsibilities:

Delivery of a validated technical solution highlighting Equinix portfolio.\xa0
Research papers on emerging technologies with suggestions for Equinix involvement.\xa0
Implementation guides, instruction videos, white papers.\xa0
Research on a technology partner.\xa0

Required Skills and Abilities

Proficiency with Cloud Computing, Information Technology, MSFT/AWS/Google certifications, Information Security - knowledge of networks, routing, applications, development languages, and strong presentation skills.\xa0
Must be currently enrolled in\u202fan accredited\u202funiversity/college, in your penultimate year of your\u202fbachelor’s\u202for master’s degree\u202fstudies\u202f(Graduation\u202fbetween December 2023-September 2024).\u202f\u202f\xa0
Available to work full-time\u202ffor the entire duration of the Summer Internship\u202fProgram\u202f(between\u202fMay\u202fto\u202fSeptember, depending on your school system).\u202f\u202f\u202f\xa0
Ability to multi-task and work\u202fcollaboratively and\u202feffectively in a\u202ffast-paced\u202fenvironment.\u202f\u202f\u202f\xa0
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English.\u202f\u202f\xa0
Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others.\u202f\u202f\xa0
Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software.\u202f\u202f
