The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students who are passionate in Insurance industry with the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.
Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024.
What you will learn and develop:

In the Group Financial Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
- Assist the risk team in the development of stress capital template, such as Excel base modeling/VBA coding and UAT.
- Assist in analysis and visualization of data.
- Draft and document production process.
- Perform guided research.
In the Derivative Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
- Development of financial derivative risk analytics for various hedge programmes.
- Research on the use of derivative strategies by insurance companies.
- Development of credit risk database for China provinces and re-development of the reporting template for liquidity.
In the Group Operational Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
- Supporting oversight of AIA Group Risk and Control Assessment related activities.
- Conducting analysis over Operational Risk data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Assisting with the design, development and testing of new features and functionality of related Risk and Compliance systems.
- Supporting the launch and implementation of new/revised Operational Risk related processes.
In the Group Technology Risk Management Team, you may be involved in:
- Support on research and development of 2nd line of defense technology risk & control framework for AIA Group.
- Draft research on a variety of Technology Risk domains including emerging risk landscape.
- Assist in establishing a support / relationship framework with AIA Business Units
- Help identify internal and external subject matter experts with the aim of building an active network of industry practitioners for knowledge / best practice exchange.
- Evaluate data analytics opportunities to proactively identify technology risks / control breaks.
Required Skills and Abilities

University students who are curious about the insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
What you will need:
- Students from all backgrounds and fields of study who are in your penultimate year of study.
- Excellent teammate and curious learner.
- Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview in March / April 2024.
