The Programme

For decades, Towngas has partnered with local universities and vocational institutes to run the Co-operative Education Programme and provide half/one year placement opportunities for students to gain hands on work experience within their field of study prior to graduation, thereby offering a platform for students to plan their career.

Taking part in the Programme not only gives students an actual work environment to apply their relevant skills and knowledge, but also exposes them to day-to-day operation of their desired role and job challenges that they may encounter in the future.

This year, we continue to welcome interested students to join the half / one-year Co-op Programme.  

Students are required to complete a work project assigned by their supervisors as part of the Programme.

The Co-op Programme covers a broad spectrum of business operations and offers a wide range of options for students to choose from: 

• Business Administration/Management.
• Business Analytics.
• Energy.
• Engineering.
• Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• Information Technology/Computer Science.
• Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
• Marketing.
• Media/Communication/Journalism/Translation.
• Science.
• Sustainability.

The programme period is 1 September 2023 – 31 August 2024.

Accounting / Business / Finance / Marketing - CIMSD-2/Co-op/2023 

The Role:

• Formulate strategy and innovation ideas to solve problems.
• Involve in work-flow analysis and streamlining process.
• Conduct market research, data analysis and prepare presentation materials and reports.
• Opportunities to meet clients and participate in events.
• Assist in data analysis, reports preparation and PPT creation.
• Conduct market research; Conduct UAT for system enhancement.
• Involve in SQS preparation work & reports; Involve in work-flow analysis and streamlining project.
• Perform business performance analysis.
• Prepare PPT and reports for department meeting.
• Provide support to engineers in preparing quotations and supporting documents.
• Support website development and enhancement.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Undergraduate with a major in Business / Engineering / Marketing / IT / Energy or relevant discipline.
• Knowledge in AI application is an advantage.
• Creative and well-organized.
• Innovative, positive and willing to learn.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).
• Proactive and patient.
• Self-motivated and result driven.
• Well-organized with good analytical skills.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
