The Programme

Towngas is committed to nurturing the younger generation by providing opportunities for them to accumulate hands-on experience and exposure in the actual workplace.  

Every year, we offer over 50 internship positions for university as well as technical and vocational school students.  

If you are looking for an exciting internship to be involved in a wide range of work. group projects, volunteering work etc., here's the perfect opportunity for you!

This year, we continue to welcome interested students to join our eight-week summer internship programme from June to August 2024.

Along with comprehensive on-the-job training and diverse learning experiences, our interns will also gain invaluable insights into Hong Kong’s gas industry through group project assignments on topics related to Towngas’ business.  

The internship programme covers a broad spectrum of business operations, and we welcome students from a wide range of fields, including but not limited to: 

• Business Administration/Management.
• Business Analytics.
• Energy.
• Engineering.
• Environmental Studies / Sustainability.
• Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• Information Technology/Computer Science.
• Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
• Marketing.
• Media/Communication/Journalism/Translation.

The internship period is 24 June 2024 – 21 August 2024.

Corporate Affairs / Communication / Customer Relations

CAD-1/SI-HK/2024

• Assist in corporate events, including event logistics and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in social media platform management, including copywriting and graphics content creation, strategic planning, etc.
• Manage media database and data entries.
• Data input, scan documents and generate reports.
• Provide administrative support to the department.
• Prepare PPT and reports for department meeting.
• Provide support to general document handling and ad-hoc projects.
• Support the writing, editing and production of publicity materials. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Undergraduate with a major in Journalism / Marketing / Advertising or relevant discipline.
• Knowledge in graphic design and video editing software applications including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus.
• Creative and well-organized.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive and patient.
