What is the GMGT?

Schneider Electric's Global Marketing Graduate Trainee Program 2024 (GMGT) is a 1-year fast-track graduate program in Global Marketing at Schneider Electric.  

We aim to recruit high-potential talents majoring in Brand and Communications, Marketing, Business and Management, or other related disciplines with strong passion in marketing filed and develop them into future marketing professionals through at Schneider Electric.

What will you get to do in the program?

  • Join a multi-discipline team of trainees to work on several marketing-related projects to help accelerate the company’s digital transformation.
  • Understand Schneider Electric and the Global Marketing organization.
  • Gain immersion in strategic and operational missions, collaborating with global teams to develop a comprehensive view of Schneider Electric's strategy and Global Marketing mission.
  • Receive mentoring from hub leaders to enhance collaboration among trainees and departments.
  • Work on various projects with stakeholders, brand awareness, engagement & lead generation, communication campaigns, marketing plan development & execution, and more, demonstrating project management skills to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, contribute to marketing strategies, and analyze data to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify process improvements, adhere to company policies, and maintain a professional attitude. 

Projects may include:

  • Brand awareness, engagement and lead generation. 
  • Internal communication: creation & execution of communication plan. 
  • Social media: create schedule & implement campaigns.
  • Public relation management. 
  • Marketing plan development & execution at a local and global level. 
  • Sales operations deployment (digital tools, social selling, inside sales).
  • Content & assets development (webpages, videos, trainings).
  • Measurement and analysis (i.e. business intelligence).
  • Project management & change management support.
  • Community management. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Fresh graduates from Bachelor or Master’s degree in Brand and Communications, Marketing, Business and Management, or other related disciplines.
  • Experience in digital, artificial intelligence (AI) with data analytical skills, or project management skills is preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and possessed strong communication skills.
  • High learning agility, embrace new technology and digital environment.
  • Proactive, willing to take on challenges, and able to collaborate with multiple functions across multiple levels in the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
