Officer - New Business Support & Underwriting

The Programme

This position should help to achieve the team's business target by preparing and underwriting group medical and group life quotations; and supporting intermediaries in applications and renewals.  
 
In addition, to assist supervisors in operation efficiency, reporting, credit control exercises, and other ad-hoc projects.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and underwrite group medical and group life quotations according to the guidelines and agreed turnaround time. 
• Support administration tasks of the department. 
• Follow through with intermediaries on pending documents or information. 
• Assist supervisors with reports, analysis, and other presentation materials. 
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, including system enhancements requirements and testing.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Associate degree or above (Fresh graduates are also welcome). 
• 1-2 years' experience in the employee benefits industry with exposure in business development or underwriting is preferred. 
• Knowledgeable in group medical and group life underwriting and operations preferred.
