Associate & Graduate Recruiting Coordinator

The Programme

The Associate & Graduate Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team.  
 
This role will be responsible for coordinating all activities and processes involved in law student recruiting throughout each recruiting season, while continuing to support a variety of Associate Recruiting initiatives, while supporting the Senior Manager of Associate Recruiting in all phases of recruiting efforts, with particular focus on the summer program, campus outreach and law school hiring.  
 
This role will be located in our Hong Kong office.

What You Will Do

Other key responsibilities include:

• Representing the firm at recruiting events and external functions such as information sessions, panel discussions and career fairs. 
• Serving as firm liaison to law school placement directors, vendors, and other recruitment professionals. 
• Corresponding with incoming applicants to schedule interview dates and times and coordinating information for applicants and interviewers. 
• Receiving, routing, and forwarding resumes for review by appropriate individuals and Recruiting Committee members. 
• Coordinating all logistics in connection with the summer program which includes planning orientation, practice group and department overviews, and events; soliciting work; managing budget; and serving as a liaison for summer associates.

Required Skills and Abilities

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm. 
• Exhibit the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with a customer-service focus 
• Display strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

And have:

• Experience in professional recruiting, ideally within a law firm or partnership environment. 
• A High School Diploma or an equivalent required.
