Propel your Innovation and Technology (I&T) career with HKSTP’s Talent Bridge Internship (TBI) Programme.

Gain early industry exposure in the largest I&T ecosystem in Hong Kong!

Suitable candidates will be offered an R&D role working in a department at HKSTP or one of HKSTP’s Park Companies.

You will have opportunities to apply your STEM knowledge to practical situations and challenges faced by tech startups. Your understanding of current innovation advancements and technological applications to society will be reinforced through the Talent Bridge Internship Programme journey.

You will be involved in projects with like-minded peers as well as top leaders in the I&T industry.

• Short-term internship 6 to 8 weeks, or
• Long-term internship 4 to 6+ months (HKSTP supports university departments to fulfill credit-bearing placements or optional work experience, therefore, duration may vary.) 

Timeline

• Application: Dec 2023 – Feb 2024
• Interview: Mar – May 2024
• Offer: Apr - May 2024
• Onboard: Jun / Jul 2024 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Job Functions include but are not limited to Software Engineering, Robotic Engineering, AI & Data, IT System, Biomedical, etc.
• Support the whole innovation project cycle from planning to execution
• Understanding the techniques of various technologies, such as lab operation, federated learning, blockchain, robot simulation, etc.
• Prepare industry market research and reports, and conduct simulations with data and tools available
• Support in programmes for technical summits, conferences, and meetups
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Undergraduate (Penultimate / Final year) and postgraduate students from Hong Kong or overseas
• Ready to work at a fast-paced environment, creative, and digitally savvy
• Good level of proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
