Intern - Operational Excellence

The Programme

In this position you will: 
 
Have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and training, exposure to exciting opportunities including managing your own projects.   
 
You will be embedded in a team working alongside some of our best Subject Matter Experts.  You will also be supported by our intern program which offers a structured learning experience.  
 
You will be working with the Operational Excellence team located in Hong Kong. 
 
You will have the opportunity to: 
 
Support strategy and implementation of key strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence across bolttech.  
 
Initiatives will range across programs focused on process design and optimization, digital innovation and implementation, and other projects targeted at waste elimination and process enhancement. 

• Supporting design, development, implementation, and benefits realization for global strategic operational excellence initiatives.  
• Supporting implementation of global operations footprint strategy and helping build efficient and scalable operations to support business growth.  
• Supporting teams to deliver strategic change programs aligned with overall business strategy at bolttech.  
• Working with stakeholders to synthesize clear takeaways from complex information and collaborating to identify opportunities and provide recommendations on operational excellence initiatives.  
• Supporting project management for operations excellence initiatives, including defining project scope, objectives, and timelines, tracking progress against budgets/milestones, identifying risks and reporting to stakeholders.  
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify milestones and align on program ‘success metrics.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree (prior experience in delivering transformational programs in the Insurance industry preferred).  
• Comfortable working with multi-functional working groups and capability to drive a workstream in the context of a broader team project.  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.  
• Self-directed with a strong ability to lead in ambiguity and who adapts readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions.  
• Good analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills.  
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications, especially MS PowerPoint and Excel.
