Intern - Actuarial

The Programme

In this position you will: 
 
Have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and training, exposure to exciting opportunities including managing your own project.  You will be embedded in a team working alongside some of our best SMEs.   
 
You will also be supported by our intern program which offers a structured learning experience.    
 
You will be working with the Actuarial Department located in Hong Kong.  
 
You will have the opportunity to:

• Portfolio management for personal and commercial lines: This function performs performance review of existing portfolios and provides recommendations on action plans for product enhancement.  
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Participate in regular financial reporting of business results across various reporting metrics. Support the implementation of the new automating dashboard for performance review with PowerBI.  
• Product Implementation: Involve in the implementation of new product launch with participation in model update and supporting UAT. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• University students major in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or IT with a development background in Business Intelligence.  
• Good analytical and communication skills.  
• Good command of written and spoken English.  
• Proficiency in MS SQL, knowledge of PowerBI (or other Business Intelligence tool).  
• Quality required for the role: curious, creative and tech-savvy.
