For:   Penultimate year undergraduates in any discipline from a recognized university. 
Duration: 6 months. 
Start date:   July 2023 to December 2023.

What You Will Do

The APAC HR Intern is responsible for supporting and contributing to strategic projects and initiatives with a regional scope. 
 
Key Role – Support to the Regional Head of HR and Regional HR Business Manager, mainly on:

Support to the Regional Head of HR and Regional HR Business Manager, mainly on: 

  • Data Analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, to facilitate review and decision making.  Depending on the scope, the intern will have to collaborate with different functions within HR in order to gain better understanding.  
  • Reports / Dashboard preparation – the intern will be exposed to first-hand preparation of reports and dashboards which may be required for management presentations. 
  • Specific projects to be assigned – the intern will be part of specific projects / initiatives to be carried out at the regional level and cascade across APAC.  These projects support the APAC HR strategic plan, thus will need close. 
  • Coordination with the different functions within HR (i.e., both regional and territory levels).  The intern may also need to collaborate with other stakeholders outside of HR who are involved in the projects.

Required Skills and Abilities

To be considered for the placement, you will:

  • Apply as a third or penultimate year undergraduate in any discipline. 
  • On track for a GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline. 
  • Be available to work full time from July to December 2023. 
  • Have to be fluent in spoken and written English. 
  • Demonstrate an inquisitive mind-set, with analytical skills, mathematical aptitude, and a keen interest in the latest finance topics as well as market trends. 

Technical and Behavioral Competencies:

  • High sense of responsibility and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Ability to remain flexible (i.e., able to handle multiple tasks) and to work under pressure and within quick timelines. 
  • Fast learner with a thirst for fully understanding the assigned tasks / projects.
