The Programme

As an Autodesk intern, you will be tasked with helping the GBA (Great Bay Area) team to uncover key project information, including background, investors, construction parties, and a range of other relevant information that can help the project move forward. 

Interact with customers in the right way at the right time. Your daily activities will enable Autodesk sales teams as well as Channel team to have impactful business conversations with new customers and help increase revenue for Autodesk's regional business units.  
 
Through this 6-month paid internship, you'll work with top talent in our sales function and learn how to guide business conversations with Autodesk customers in key industries: architecture, engineering and construction, and design and manufacturing.

What You Will Do

  • Phone or online search for potential customers in the Greater Bay Area related project progress, dig project background and communicate project related information with sales team and chatterbox team in a timely manner. 
  • Identify and identify new sales leads via phone, email and social media platforms based on the Greater Bay Area customer list. 
  • Communicate with potential customers, research potential customers, their industry and needs, understand their pain points, challenges and our goals. 
  • Explain our products/services, features and benefits to potential customers, focusing on the value proposition and how it is different. 
  • Schedule appointments, presentations, or meetings for the sales team to further reach out to qualified prospects.  
  • Agree with sales team on target customer, strategy and message.  
  • Use a CRM system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead customer interactions and activities.  
  • Provide feedback on lead insights and market intelligence to marketing, channel and relevant sales teams. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Currently enrolled in an academic university degree course studying towards Business Management or similar.  
  • Or experience working in a sales environment. 
  • Cantonese language skills would be beneficial. 
  • Motivated to acquire new skills. 

You will learn: 
 
How to promote engagement with customer decision makers, digital sales strategies, best practices for customer engagement from first touch points to long-term repeat customers.  
 
Learn to use some of the leading CRM tools on the market (Salesforce, Outreach, GoConsensus…) and how to make a significant impact on our customers' business processes.
