Arup’s aviation planners work with clients to solve the Aviation industry’s demands and to anticipate future needs.

We develop creative planning and operational solutions for airport infrastructure that balance traffic growth, evolving airline strategy and commercial demands, with changing regulatory policy, and competing land-use and environmental requirements. 

We provide the professional skills needed to define the strategic, development, business and operational requirements for new airport facilities, as well as optimizing the capacity and value of existing airport assets.

We deliver pragmatic solutions, directed to achieving projects that are affordable, buildable, and operationally efficient, and that minimize impact on the environment. 

Arup’s core aviation planning skills encompass:

• Demand and capacity analysis.
• Airport master planning.
• Facilities programming.
• Terminal planning and conceptual design.
• Airfield and apron planning.
• Landside and surface access planning.
• Terminal and airfield simulation modeling.
• Support facility planning.
• Civil and utilities engineering.
• Program management and risk analysis.
• Sustainable Aviation planning.  

What You Will Do

You will be involved in assisting with project design works; preparing calculations and drawings; modelling of engineering behaviour, etc. 

Required Skills and Abilities

You should be a well-motivated and creative Graduate in Airport Engineering or related disciplines who wants to work in our Aviation team.
