Intern - Risk Management - Accounting/ Actuary

The Programme

We are looking for a committed intern to provide a wide-range support to the Group CRO Office (during Jul-Dec 2024) covering business management, risk governance, and risk reporting.

What You Will Do

• Support the Group Risk & Compliance Business Management activities, including but not limited to department budgeting and expense management.
• Maintain and enhance the Risk Management Intranet, functionality and design; collaborate with developers to implement changes or enhancement.
• Maintain the document infrastructure and access rights controls.
• Design and develop communication/ presentation materials for Risk & Compliance related projects / initiatives / events, such as newsletters, email, multimedia, etc.
• Assist in organizing Risk & Compliance events; brainstorms new and creative communication strategies to ensure strategy and key messages are effectively communicated.
• Provide support with preparing presentation and briefing materials for external and internal meetings for the Group Chief Risk Officer.
• Provide administrative support with regard to risk committees and other oversight forums.
• Other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Law or Communications or equivalent.
• Availability for a half-year full-time internship is definitely an advantage. Part-time availability for at least 2 days per week could also be considered.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with good written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proactive learner with a growth mindset.
• Sound computer application skills, including using advanced functions of MS PowerPoint, Word, and MS Excel. 
• The ability to use multimedia design tools and programming languages such as VBA is an advantage.
