TRAINEE: Financial Sponsor Coverage

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Trainee will work closely with the Head of FSC APAC and with different Business Lines and Support Units to ensure that our Financial Sponsor clients are dynamically covered. The Trainee will learn how Financial Sponsors are operating with their various funds and will interact with a number of internal counterparts to achieve trade-ready status ahead of any potential transaction: identification of potential transactions, KYC requirements, iC updates, Committees approvals among others. The Trainee will also be integrated into the global network of FSC, GLBA and SG Group in general.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering or similar.
  • Will to understand the Financial Sponsor industry.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations.
  • Attention to details.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description

The Global Banking and Advisory Business Unit (GLBA) is responsible for client coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing services with the aim to provide integrated service offering to Wholesale clients. GLBA provides expertise across coverage and business lines, and transversal support. Within GLBA, FSC provides coverage to Financial Sponsors.
