Branch Trainee – Hong Kong
12-month Programme

Branch Trainees join our 12-month structured programme after which they support customers in-person, providing expert advice and information about products that best suit customers’ requirements. This delivers exposure to a broad range of banking services enabling Trainees to develop a strong understanding of the banking industry through hands on experience.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service through accurate and efficient counter transactions
  • Meet the financial services needs of customers by identifying opportunities and referring them to appropriate colleagues
  • Ensure smooth branch operations and achieve satisfactory audit rating
  • Support customers in account opening, promoting financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, personal loans and general insurance product upon promotion to General Banking Officer.

Requirements

  • University fresh graduate, preferably in finance or business related discipline
  • Customer service experience in mass market is preferred
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a service environment
  • Team player with good communication skills

Principal Responsibilities

  • As a Customer Care Officer in Premier Relationship, you will join a team that collaboratively brings top quality services to our Premier customers through social media platforms, emails and phone calls
  • Listening to customers and understanding their needs, you will strive to deliver maximum customer satisfaction, offering relevant products, services and solutions

Primary Requirements

  • Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (with a pass in either Chinese and Mathematics, or English and Mathematics) or above
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude including ability to empathise and advise
  • A problem solver capable of numerical and critical reasoning
  • Strong communication capabilities with fluency in Cantonese and the ability to read and write in English; good command of Mandarin would be advantageous
  • Flexibility to work on shift duties including overnight, weekend and public holidays
  • Positive attitude with willingness to help others

Counter Services Officer – Hong Kong
