What You’ll Do

Over the course of eight to ten weeks, you'll get to:
- Explore Digital Business Services (DBS) – the foundation of HSBC – providing the operations, technology and business services the bank needs to succeed
- Spend time working with the dedicated teams in Global Operations, the Deputy Chief Operating Office, the Chief Control Office (CCO) and Global Procurement
- Make a real and meaningful contribution in areas like digital transformation, customer experience, mergers and acquisitions, strategic procurement, and risk and governance
- Take part in a special business project where you'll work with other interns to solve a real-world business challenge
- Perform well and you’ll be considered for a place on our Operating Excellence Graduate Programme
What You’ll Learn
We’ll help you develop the technical skills most relevant to your role. We’ll also provide plenty of opportunities to advance your non-technical skills, like relationship management and collaboration, that will help you move your career forward successfully.
During your time on the programme, you’ll:
- Start with an immersive introduction to HSBC and the world of Digital Business Services, followed by a tailored induction that will bring you up to speed in your role
- Enjoy the support of your very own Graduate Coach, who will help you make connections and navigate your way around the business
- Learn about agile ways of working and project management and develop those all-important soft skills that will set you up for a varied international career
- Have plenty of other opportunities to develop your skills, and people to support you along the way, ensuring that you’re well prepared for the future

Requirements
- Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2025
- Must graduate between December 2025 and June 2026
- Obtained, or expected to achieve, a 3.2/4.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent 2.1 Degree from a recognised University (as appears on your official University Transcript or Degree Certificate)
- Fluent in English. Mandarin and/or Cantonese advantageous but not essential
- Legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
