Intern -Global Supply Chain Digitalization & Project-Math's-Dispersions & Resins

The Programme

Objectives of the Position:

• Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects across 4 regional business units and 2 global units covering the Supply Chain (SC) end-to-end processes of demand & supply planning, order-to-cash, transport management, non-conformance, inventory management, SC operations, cost savings and Digitalization.
• Continuously develop and improve SC competencies in the business units and by that also drive SC operational excellence together with business units.

What You Will Do

• Run customer centric digital projects in raising the customers’ experience and increase collaboration and integration with BASF.
• Engage and communicate proactively with diverse regional and functional teams relating to digital initiatives and programs.
• Adopt and utilize digital tools and technologies in rolling out SC dashboards to allow for real-time business and operations excellence analysis.
• Implement ETL process to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
• Ideate and implement process automation solutions for multiple Supply Chain processes while communicating with multiple stakeholders.
• Support on new AI related topics within the team to improve efficiency, save costs and enhance customer experience. 
  Assist in preparing project documentation, business requirements and user guides.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Commitment to a 6-month preferably full-time or part-time(4days/week) internship from October 2024.
• Students of bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in STEM field, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain or of related disciplines.
• Preferably with past internship or work experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science or other related fields.
• Proficient in ETL Solutions, Power BI/Tableau, SQL Database, knowledge of programming languages like Python, C# is a plus.
• Preferably with knowledge in Cloud Service (Microsoft Azure), Databricks, Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ability to think outside of the box and have an analytical mindset.
• Self-starter and able to work independently on assigned projects.
• High proficiency in oral and written English.
