Our People

Cindy Shin - Financial Products
University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Business Administration (2016)

I started off as a Summer Intern in 2015 and officially joined the Analytics Team upon graduation in April 2016. What I loved most about this opportunity is the 8-week training program. The structured and comprehensive training program was designed to help us develop cross asset (Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Commodities) and product knowledge so that we are equipped and well prepared to interact with our clients. This experience opens doors to many other exciting career opportunities within Bloomberg!

I first joined Bloomberg as a Student Placement in 2013 and officially joined Global Data in 2015. I like that possibilities are endless here. As the expert in the datasets we manage, we interact with clients, know their needs and provide suitable solutions. We work closely with news and make use of our data to produce market moving news headlines and information. I also like the fact that I have ownership to the work I do. We have a flat hierarchy and can easily access our team leaders and managers for open discussions. Our opinions are highly valued and we do actually have the voice to make changes happen.
