Data Science Intern

The Programme

As a Data Science Intern in our Applied Data Science team, you’ll be part of exciting projects that harness data and AI technologies to drive business outcomes and enhance decision-making.  

We’re looking for a passionate and curious individual who enjoys exploring new technologies and is eager to contribute to our data-driven initiatives.  

What You Will Do

Independent Work:

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Seek guidance when needed but demonstrate self-sufficiency.

Internal Data Exploration and Enrichment:

• Dive into our data domains to understand their intricacies.
• Explore internal datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Assist in enriching our data understanding under the project scope. 

Ad-Hoc Analytics:

• Respond to ad-hoc data requests from various stakeholders.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to answer specific business questions.
• Provide actionable insights based on your findings.

Hands-On Coding and Analytics Solution Delivery:

• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement data analytics solutions.
• Write code to process, analyze, and visualize data insights.
• Contribute to the development of models and machine learning algorithms.

Administrative and Groundwork:

• Assist in documentation, including documenting data processes, methodologies, and findings.
• Support administrative tasks if existing.

Required Skills and Abilities

Education & Experience:

• Major in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data.
• Curiosity to explore new technologies and learn continuously.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Having previous intern experience in data science will be a plus.

You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities.
