2024 AIA Group Office Summer Internship Programme - Group Investment

The Programme 

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students who are passionate in Insurance industry with the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities. 
 
Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024. 
 
What you will learn and develop: 
 
Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Investment, you may be involved in: 

• Conduct performance analyses for PE / VC funds and transactions;  
• Perform analysis on pricing of different types of bonds and their respective investment characteristics such as credit rating, duration, yield, and term structure. 
• Assist in Automating and solutioning financial analysis and ad hoc initiatives assigned covering various asset classes and asset allocation. 
• Analysis, research and project-related work supporting the Investment ESG Centre of Excellence executing its 2024 goals. 
• Support Group Equities team to develop or enhance existing analytical tools for portfolio oversight, market intelligence and fund manager research.
• Conduce research and analysis on Group Investment related projects.  

Required Skills and Abilities

University students who are curious about the insurance industry, open-minded to accept new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. 
 
What you will need: 

• Students from all backgrounds and fields of study who are in your penultimate year of study. 
• Excellent teammate and curious learner. 
• Ability to multi-task, quick to adapt and able to work in fast paced work environment. 
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Strong digital literacy required, proficient in Microsoft Office. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview in March / April 2024.
